Resurrection Sunday

Everyone is invited to come, bring some friends or come and  make some new friends!!

Our Easter tradition includes:

Hundreds of Eggs; Exploding with candy; Lost in the church yard.

The yard is a big place if you are a little egg. They got out there, but they need you to find them.

Kids -- we need YOU to help us find them all.

Is there a Message In the Easter Egg?

To give you a taste of the message that is seen in an Easter Egg.

Eggs are a symbol of:

1.   Life: an ancient saying is that all of life comes from an egg.

2.   Resurrection: the eggs. As the egg is cracked open for the young bird to escape, it becomes a symbol for the resurrection.

The nature of man is a trinity:

3.   The Body, Soul, and Spirit is seen in an Egg.

The egg has from early times been used as a symbol for man because of its three clear parts.

The outer shell is like the body, it is the part of us that is seen.

The albumen (the egg white) fills the egg and it is like the soul of man.

The yolk is where the life develops and it is where the spirit comes into a person when they are born again.

Every Egg has a yolk but not all have life in them. All people have a spirit but unless they have Christ in their lives they are not spiritually alive.

4.   The dying of the eggs.

5.   The Easter Egg Hunt.

6.   The cracking the egg.

These all have meanings.

We will have a children’s sermon on the Message of the Easter Egg Resurrection on Sunday April 12th during the 11 AM worship service.
